Michael G, MD-PhD Student
Michael is an MD-PhD student in New York City. His passion for geroscience began in his teenage years, and he has shaped his education around attaining a career devoted to studying longevity-enhancing interventions and helping people live healthier for longer. His current work focuses on biological mechanisms underlying enhanced genomic stability, as well as incorporation of large biological data sets to personalize medical interventions. Michael’s ultimate goal is to create a comprehensive and affordable healthcare system – one that not only treats sickness, but also preserves health.
Sam A, MD-PhD Student
Sam is an MD-PhD student in New York City. His career goals center around his interest in understanding the human immune response to foreign antigens. He would eventually like to design therapeutics that are inspired by the patients he cares for in the clinic. His current work as a Biochemistry graduate student involves developing novel vaccines and therapeutic antibodies to prevent and treat infectious diseases. He is also passionate about improving transparency in medical research by disseminating the most high quality, up-to-date information with both patients and providers through his writing for The Longevity Times.
Noah G, MD Student
Noah is an MD student in New York City. During undergrad, Noah was involved in Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive aging research. Following graduation, Noah spent two years at the NYU Center for Psychedelic Medicine studying the use of psychedelic-assisted therapy as a potential novel treatment for an array of disorders, where he authored multiple publications. Noah is currently involved in longevity research looking at the effects of sex hormones on aging in older adults. Noah hopes to ultimately pursue a career in related areas involved in both clinical work and similar innovative research.
